We have received numerous emails and telephone calls about the site. Words such as wonderful, informative and amazing were often used to describe the contents. I have had calls from teachers from across Canada who have referred to the site for information about Black History to use in their teaching programs. I have also had calls from our American neighbours who were not aware of just how important Canadas role was in the fight for freedom. The links to other Black History sites is an invaluable resource for students and historians alike. This has been reiterated to me many times by those who have called to compliment the site. Websmart has created two very informative, creative and effective websites for the Billy Bishop Heritage and Owen Sound Marine & Rail Museums. Owen truly understands the importance of heritage and has created two websites that have encouraged people to learn more about our enriched Canadian past.
